At Concrete Dreams in 3D, we promise 100% transparency in our operations and are committed to using your generous donations to achieve our goal of housing all homeless veterans by September 9, 2029. Here's how your contributions will be used: Raising Awareness: Marketing efforts to spread the word about our mission. To house so many veterans within five years, we need all the assistance we can get. Spending money on marketing is essential to getting the word out there so we can reach contributors. We are taking donations because we want this to happen fast. Although we will be using grants and any means possible to house the veterans, it will take more than grants to make this possible. Building Homes: Covering construction costs, employees' wages, and land acquisition to ensure safe, sustainable homes tailored to the unique needs of our veterans. This includes permitting and regulatory fees, setting up essential utilities, and maintaining the homes. Our dedicated employees will be working tirelessly to make this happen, and we aim to provide fair compensation to prevent them from facing homelessness, especially in the expensive living environment of Utah. At Concrete Dreams in 3D, our primary mission is to provide homes for homeless veterans. While the majority of our fundraising efforts and resources are dedicated to constructing these homes, we recognize that systemic change is necessary to maximize the impact of our work. To this end, a portion of our funds will also be allocated to lobbying efforts. However, it is important to note that this will be a minimal amount, ensuring that the bulk of our resources are directly invested in housing for veterans. As we house one veteran, another becomes homeless, creating an urgent need to stay ahead of the issue. By focusing our efforts and funds on building homes, we can more effectively address this challenge. However, to make significant strides, we must also advocate for legislative changes that will reduce costs and remove barriers. Lobbying is essential for several reasons: 1. **Reducing Construction Costs:** We need to advocate for the use of concrete roofs in our houses and buildings. These roofs are cost-effective, quicker to install, and more durable when constructed correctly. 2. **Rainwater Collection:** To make housing truly affordable, we must be permitted to collect rainwater in Utah. This sustainable practice can significantly reduce utility costs for residents. Not just rainwater but cysterns also will need to be a thing if we are going to create a free or an affordable housing situation. (Our homes will be free for homeless veterans. They won't be paying rent) 3. **Permit and Fee Regulations:** Current laws on permits and building fees can make construction prohibitively expensive. We need to push for caps on what cities and governments can charge, making it more feasible to build affordable housing. Without these changes, the cost of building homes for veterans will remain high, limiting the number of people we can help. By strategically investing in lobbying, we aim to create a more favorable environment for affordable housing, ultimately allowing us to stretch our resources further and house more veterans. In summary, while our primary focus remains on constructing homes for veterans, we understand that legislative change is crucial for long-term success. Our lobbying efforts will be carefully measured to ensure the majority of our funds continue to go directly toward providing housing for those who have served our country. Concrete Dreams in 3D is creating a network of people with the same vision accross all the states and we are going to facilitate the housing of our veterans as a team. The network is already there and being pulled together and these people and businesses are already lobbying for change in their states. We plan to start in Utah but we will also support lobbying efforts in other states to get these houses built for our veterans. Providing Essentials: Ensuring that our homeless veterans receive necessary items such as socks, water, food, and other essentials. Support Services: Offering counseling, to help veterans transition smoothly into their new homes. There are many veterans who have been homeless for years, so they may need assistance transitioning. We don't want them to end up houseless again, and they deserve healing, so we will definitely be getting them the help they deserve to stay in a home. We will set them up with assistance through the VA that's already available. There's also a lot of assistance available for veterans outside of the VA, such as ketamine therapy, that we will assist them with getting. Whatever we can do to get them healed and to give them the quality of life they deserve. These are our heroes and they deserve healing and a safe place to call home. Administrative Costs: Covering necessary operational expenses to keep the organization running efficiently. Technology and Innovation: Investing in advanced 3D printing technology and other innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and quality of our construction processes. As a benefit LLC, our focus is on benefiting the community, not making a profit. The business just needs to cover its bills, and we aim to make a significant impact, not generate excessive revenue. Thank you to all our donors. Your support means the world to us. Together, we can unite as a country and make this happen. No man or woman left behind. Let’s house our heroes.
